Safe medications

An at home guide to medications
It can be helpful to have a drug handbook at home, which you can use to look up medications. Physicians use The Physician's Desk Reference (PDR) or Drug Facts and Comparisons. The PDR has a separate publication for OTC medications. Drug Facts and Comparisons has both prescription and OTC medications under the same cover.

Other pill and drug reference guides are available for a non-medical reader. Finding a reference that lists medications in alphabetical order, and by their generic and brand names may be especially useful.
