Relief for mom

Dental Concerns
Your increased estrogen production during pregnancy will soften your gums, which may bleed frequently. Your increased blood flow will also cause them to swell and become spongy.

Although you can't change this, you can keep it from getting worse by paying attention to your oral hygiene. Floss and brush regularly. Avoid sweet and sticky foods that may cause plaque buildup and make the problem worse. Visit your dentist for a checkup and cleaning, but do not have any X-rays done. Do not get any dental work that requires general anesthesia.
