Sleeping
A newborn sleeps between 16 –20 hours a day. A newborn will make sounds, smile and will have rapid eye movement during sleep. The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends that you keep your baby on their back to reduce the risk of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome, or SIDS.
