Labor & delivery

Did You Know?
  • The majority of women do not have their babies on their due date. There is usually a two-week window of time around this date when delivery actually occurs.
  • Most women do not break their water at home, in the grocery store or at work, but at the birth center!
  • There are ways of starting labor and moving it along both naturally and with medication.
  • Most women who have had a previous cesarean section can have a vaginal delivery in the future.
  • If the baby is not head-first in the birth canal, there may be ways of turning it around in some cases before delivery.
