There are personal and lifestyle choices that promote healthy pregnancy and things that put pregnancy at additional risk. In this section, we try to overview the common wellness strategies that promote health during pregnancy. As well, we touch on the areas that should best be avoided during pregnancy (and probably most of the time!)
A “do” is something you can or should do – a “don’t” is something to avoid doing! There are a lot of changes going on in your body during pregnancy, and there is much to be gained by figuring out what activities and behaviors increase the chances of having a healthy pregnancy and birth. Maybe there are some tips here you hadn’t thought of yet!
