Practice Stress Management
Practice relaxation, deep breathing, mindfulness, positive visualization, and progressive muscle relaxation.
Join a support group – especially if you are kicking a habit (like smoking), experiencing trouble with fertility, or have had a previous pregnancy loss.
Create a relaxing environment – try candles, aromatherapy scents, comfort lighting, a warm bath, a massage and soothing music.
Laugh hard at least once a day. Rent funny videos. Post photos and pictures that make you laugh next to your mirror or on the refrigerator.
Be creative - do something expressive or artistic (dance, sing, paint, write poetry).
Enjoy - nature is restorative, enjoy a walk in fresh air, watch the sunset, or stroll by the beach or favorite meadow. Enjoy the beauty.
