MidLife

The Fountain of Youth
Many stores sell items – lotions, magnets, drinks, vitamins, herbs and extracts - that claim to reduce the effects of aging. While interesting information on the action of certain chemicals in the body is emerging from scientific research, these anti-aging products and remedies have certainly made exaggerated claims. There are no products proven to extend life or reverse the effects of aging. If you are impressed by a certain pill or potion, learn more about it first. Talk to your health care provider for a health risk/benefit assessment before taking any over the counter anti-aging remedy.
