Infertility

How to Interpret Success Rates of Fertility Centers
When looking at success rates, take into consideration the number of cycles - if they are high, then the specialists almost surely have long and extensive experience. In addition to success rates, be sure to consider other factors -
  • Look for a full range of services and a staff dedicated solely to reproductive health.
  • Look for a facility that is innovative and stays at the cutting edge of medical advances indicating a high degree of skills and knowledge.
  • See if you can contact former patients and learn about their experiences.
  • Ask your physicians whom they would recommend you see.
  • Contact the medical and other staff at the fertility centers you're considering to get a sense of their responsiveness, compassion, availability and knowledge.
  • Finally, trust your judgment! If you're an active participant in your care, you'll have a stronger sense of control during a difficult time of frustration and helplessness.
