Bone Health

Weight-bearing exercise and bone health
Regular weight-bearing exercise may actually build bone mass. Walking, jogging, skipping rope, aerobics, skiing, horseback riding, and roller-blading are all weight-bearing activities because muscles are strengthened, and agility and coordination are improved.

Daily exercise and walking will keep your muscles strong and fit. Regular activity will help with coordination and agility, and reduce the likelihood of a fall. Walk with a friend, and enjoy some good company and conversation. Exercise will benefit your bones, heart and mental health!

It is suggested that you check with your doctor before starting an exercise program to ensure that program is right for you and your health.
