Dr. Elligers attended Cornell University, where he received his undergraduate degree in 1974. He then earned his medical degree from Universidad Nacional de Pedro Henriquez Urena in 1981. He completed his obstetrics and gynecology residency training at Mt. Sinai Hospital. Certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Dr. Elligers joined the practice of Woodland Women's Health Associates in 1985.
