Dr. Kellner attended Albertus Magnus College where she received her undergraduate degree in 1966. She also attended the University of Maryland where she received her MSW in 1973 and her medical degree in 1980. She completed a four-year residency at the Yale - New Haven Hospital. Dr. Kellner is certified by the American Board of Obstetrics & Gynecology and joined the practice of West Hartford Obstetrics and Gynecology in 1987.
