Dr. LaMonica received his undergraduate degree, cum laude, from Western Maryland College in 1978. He then earned his medical degree from America University of the Caribbean in 1982. He completed his internship at Wilmington Medical Center in 1983 and his residency at Danbury Hospital in 1987. Certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Dr. LaMonica is also a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. Additionally, he is also a member of the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists, the Fairfield County Medical Association and the American Fertility Society.
Dr. LaMonica joined Physicians for Women in 1992.
