Mary received her bachelor's degree in nursing from the University of Hartford in 1990, then completed her master's degree at the University of Connecticut in 1995. She continued her studies, completing her clinical internship with the National Health Services Corps in 1995, then earning her adult nurse practitioner certification in 1996.
In her free time Mary enjoys traveling, reading, and arts and crafts.
