Dr. Watson received his medical degree from Ohio State University in 1968. He completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Yale – New Haven Hospital in 1973. Dr. Watson holds several appointments including being a member and Vice Chairman of Windham Community Hospital and University of Connecticut of School of Allied Health Specializing in Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Watson is certified by the American Board of Obstetrics & Gynecology. He is also certified by the North American Menopausal Society for Menopausal counseling.
Dr. Watson was most recently honored in 2003 with an award from the Consumers Research Council of America, Top Doctor Obstetrics and Gynecology. He is an active member of several medical societies including American College of Obstetrics & Gynecology and the Connecticut State Medical Society.
Dr. Watson was voted Physician of the year at Windham Community Memorial Hospital for the year 2004.
