Dr Helgans received her medical degree from Tufts University School of Medicine in 1989. She completed her Obstetrics and Gynecology residency training at St Francis Hospital and Medical Center in 1993. Dr. Helgans is board certified specializing in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Dr. Helgans is an active member of several medical societies including; American College of Obstetricians & Gynecologists, Connecticut State Medical Association and the Greater Hartford Obstetrical and Gynecological Society.
