Dr. Welling attended Bates College, where he received his undergraduate degree in 1978. He earned his medical degree from St. George's University of Medicine in 1982, then completed his obstetric and gynecologic four-year residency training at Hartford Hospital.
Certified by the American Board of Obstetrics & Gynecology, Dr. Welling joined the practice of Manchester Ob-Gyn Associates in 1988.
