Dr. Sahakyan attended the Yerevan State Medical University in Yerevan Armenia where she earned her medical degree in 1987. She completed her residency program in June of 2003 from the University of Connecticut Health Center. Dr. Sahakyan has a special interest in uro-gyn.
She is fluent in Armenian and Russian and currently resides in West Hartford with her husband and two children.
