Dr. Saidel received his bachelor's degree from Cornell University. He then earned his medical degree from The Chicago Medical School, then completed his obstetrics and gynecology internship and residency training at Hartford Hospital. He began practicing women's health in the Farmington Valley in 1981. Currently a consultant to Planned Parenthood, Dr. Saidel is also an advisor to the Connecticut Permanent Commission on the Status of Women for women's reproductive health as well as a prominent spokesperson on these issues.
Certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Dr. Saidel has a special interest in family centered obstetrics, menopause and vaginal surgery.
Dr. Saidel is a musician, actor and singer and lives in Canton with his wife and two children, who are also seasoned performers.
