Dr. Hoden received his undergraduate degree from North Park College in 1964. He earned his medical degree from the University of Vermont College of Medicine in 1970, then completed his obstetrics and gynecology residency training at Hartford Hospital.
Certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Dr. Hoden joined The Center for Women's Health in Connecticut in 1974. He is currently active in Literacy Volunteers of America and has made several trips to third world countries working as a consulting gynecologic surgeon. One of Dr. Hoden's specialty areas is laparoscopic surgery.
Dr. Hoden is fluent in both English and Swedish.
