Michelle L. Plyler, CNM, is a 1997 graduate of Yale University with her Masters Degree in Nurse Midwifery. Before becoming a midwife she was a Labor and Delivery nurse and Childbirth Educator. Michelle is a member of the American College of Nurse Midwives. She is on the St. Mary's Hospital Human Lactation Committee and The Greater Waterbury Breastfeeding Committee.
Michelle received her undergraduate degrees in nursing from the University of South Carolina in 1993 and in biology from Wofford College in South Carolina in 1990. She currently resides in Hamden with her husband and two daughters.
